USB-Connector : The USB-Connector should be plugged into a free USB 2. Now, my current PSU is a CX650M. But I'm not sure how well or stable the system will run. I was wondering, on the back of my PSU there is 2x (2x4pin) cpu connector (cpu1 and cpu2). Do I plug one of the 4 piece CPU cables into the CPU PWR 1 and the other into the CPU PWR 2, or both 4 pieces into the CPU PWR 1? If both go into the CPR PWR 1 then would I have to buy another cable for the CPU PWR 2? I cam planning on overclocking. But it still have 2 free connections for a 4x2 "CPU or PCI-E" cable. Most good power supplies these days will have 2x8pin connectors split 4x4 to fit any required motherboard power. If your motherboard has an additional EPS connector, then you'd want to use the modular one as well. Sep 26, 2020 · If your motherboard only has a single 4 or 8pin (4+4) EPS/CPU connector, just use the non-modular cable that's already attached to the PSU. Disregard the 4-pin connector, as it's for older CPUs.
